What Will I Learn?

Photoshop is the industry standard image editing and montaging program for the creation of bitmap images for print and for the web. The course is a balance of hands on practical exercises, and theory relating to pre-press and integration with other programs. The course starts from the program basics and quickly builds knowledge and confidence in how to navigate the application and use the tools to create, edit, save and convert to or from bitmap files. This involves both creating bitmap images from scratch and editing existing image files and correcting images. Delegates will learn to create montages including, numerous ways of selecting, layering, manipulating and cutting-out images. The course also covers: colour correction, masking, channels, photo re-touching, interpolation and re-sampling, re-sizing images, type techniques and numerous tips and creative techniques.
